Birmingham Litter Cleanup

Everyone is welcome to join as BWRk partners with Birmingham District 1 and UAB Honors College to clean up part of our watershed!
About this Event

Join us for a day of service on Saturday, August 22nd, 2026.

Safety: This event may take place along the roadside in an area that may not have sidewalks, so please only sign up if you feel comfortable with this. ALL children must be accompanied by an adult.

What we encourage volunteers to wear/bring:

1. Comfortable clothing that you do not mind getting a little wet or dirty (preferably long pants)

2. Closed-toed shoes

3. Water

4. Sun protection

What we will provide:

1. Garbage bags

2. Gloves & Litter Pickers

3. Safety Vests
