BOOKING ESSENTIAL
Birds are everywhere, from remote places to our towns and cities. But can you recognise them?
Join our walk to see what's here at Mersehead and get familiar with some of the common and rarer ones.
Bring binoculars and your favourite bird guides if you have some, a notebook and pen/pencil. Tips will be given on recommended guides and how to use these in helping identify what you find.
We have a small number of pairs of binoculars which can be loaned out for the event.
This event will take place outdoors with some time spent indoors and all areas will be accessible by wheelchair, on surfaced trails.
Additional car parking charges apply to non-RSPB members. Tickets for any children attending can be purchased on the day (half the price of adult tickets).
Please also note that, as the reserve location is prone to flooding, we ask that all individuals/groups attending provide a telephone number, so we can notify you in advance if the event needs to be cancelled at short notice.
