Birdwatching 101 for Adults Class - FREE CLASS offered in Bastrop!Do you want to know the name of that very colorful bird that spends the summer in Bastrop? How about the difference between a Black Vulture and a Turkey Vulture flying overhead? Then again, what makes birds so unique and yet so variable?
The Bastrop Public Library, in cooperation with the Bastrop County Audubon Society and Bird City Bastrop is offering an in-depth introduction to birdwatching. Your instructors consist of local Master Birders and experienced bird walk guides.
This Fall afternoon class meets on 4 consecutive FRIDAYS starting OCTOBER 3rd from 1:00-3:00 PM at the Bastrop Public Library.
Session 1: Introduction to Birdwatching
Session 2: Birdwatching Resources and Technology
Session 3: Backyard Birding
Session 4: Putting it all together for your field trips
Free class, but registration is required. These tend to fill fast, and there is limited space, so don’t wait to sign up!
