Mervyn's talk will focus on Queensland's wind energy developments and the application of best available knowledge to minimise the impact on our birds.
Frank has been a regular bird observer at the Orchard Road farm dam site in the south-east corner of the Redlands District. As part of a residential development plan, the Orchard Road dam, with 127 recorded sightings (141 bird species), is earmarked for a complete in-fill to make way for sporting fields. This presentation portrays the birdlife and the dilemma.
