About this Event

Calling all nature lovers and craft enthusiasts!

Ever wanted to design a custom sanctuary for your favorite feathered friends? Come hang out with us at the Natomas Farmers Market and learn about the amazing birds and plants that call the Natomas basin home. You’ll get to collage your very own vibrant bird haven scene, and then—here’s the best part—we’ll show you how to heat-press your custom masterpiece onto a stylish fabric zipper-totebag! You get to take it home, show it off, and carry a piece of local nature wherever you go.

Craft your own bird haven and take it to go!

Join Artist Ambassador Heather Hogan for a fun, hands-on workshop celebrating the beautiful birds and native plants of the Natomas basin. In this creative session, you’ll collage a beautiful habitat for your favorite bird, then learn how to heat-press your unique design onto a durable, zippered totebag. It’s free, it’s fun, and you walk away with a custom accessory you created yourself!
