About this Event

Join DC Bird Alliance for a bird walk at Huntley Meadows Park, one of the region’s premier wetland habitats and a favorite destination for birders and wildlife lovers alike.

Known for its expansive marsh, scenic boardwalks, and rich biodiversity, Huntley Meadows offers excellent opportunities to observe a wide variety of birds and other wildlife. From songbirds and woodpeckers to herons, ducks, and reptiles basking near the water, there is always something to discover.

We’ll move at a relaxed, beginner-friendly pace, pausing often to observe, listen, and share what we’re seeing together. Whether you’re new to birding or a longtime nature lover, this walk is a chance to slow down and experience one of the area’s most beautiful natural spaces.
