Birds and Birdsong Guided Walk

This will be a guided nature walk focusing on identifying birds and their songs and calls. Suitable for beginners and intermediates.

I'm Steve - currenly working as a conservation ranger where I carry out varied wildlife surveys and habitat management.

We will take a gentle stroll along forested tracks to Shearwater lake and back with a cafe at the half way point. Plenty of time to observe, listen and learn id tips.
Targets will include firecrest, crossbill, siskin, summer migrants, raptors and stock dove along with a myriad of other species.
Plenty of interesting trees, wild flowers, butterflies etc to see too !
