Do you love long walks on the beach? Birds do!
Join us for a nice walk along the beach, starting from the southernmost end of Seacoast Drive in Imperial Beach, and proceeding south to the mouth of the Tijuana River. We will look for migrating shorebirds, as well as summer arrivals. Special target birds will be Least Terns and Western Snowy Plovers. Finding the bits of kelp, mollusks, and other marine life that have washed up along the shore is an added attraction.
PLEASE NOTE: Online registration is required. Capped at 12 participants.
