Ludington Library will host a four-part series focused on learning about and viewing the birds all around us. Each event's topic and presenters are as follows:Tuesday, May 20 - Birding and Bird Watching in Mason County (Dave Dister, Sable Dunes Audubon Society)
Tuesday, June 17 - Building a Backyard Wildlife Habitat (Josh Shields, Mason-Lake Conservation District)
Tuesday, July 15 - How to Photograph Birds (Al Geist, MCDL employee)
Tuesday, August 19 - Using Birding to Explore Arts, Humanities, and Ecological Urgency (Garth Sabo, Michigan State University professor and Director, Center for Integrative Studies in the Arts and Humanities)
No experience needed, just an interest in birds and the beautiful nature of Mason County. Adults or older teens are most likely to enjoy these presentations, but families with children are welcome.
