Birding Hour with Ranger Jasmine

Description: Come walk with Ranger Jasmine to see what birds are active at Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve. All levels of birders are welcome. Binoculars and comfortable footwear are recommended.

What to expect: We will gather under the kiosk in front of the the Nature Center and walk around the Preserve looking for birds. At the end, we'll recap all the bird species we've observed. Ranger Jasmin will help with bird identification by sight and sound. The full program lasts 2 hours.

Where to meet: Find Ranger Jasmine under the kiosk at the Nature Center (3787 Klondike Rd.)

What to bring: Wear comfortable footwear, dress for the weather, and bring a refillable water bottle.

Restrooms: Public restrooms are available in the parking lot.

Recommended ages: This program content is designed for adults and older children, but all ages are welcome.

Dogs: This program is NOT appropriate for dogs, so please leave your pup at home.

Weather contingency: This program will be canceled if there is lightning or other dangerous/inclement weather.
