Birding for Beginners: Inside Event Dress accordingly!
Come learn what birds can be found at Lake Houston Wilderness Park! This is an entry level class. We will teach you the basics of birding, go over common birds with their songs, and then take you on a short hike to see what we can find.
All children under the age of 13 are free. There is no cost for the program, but adults/teachers do still have to pay the entrance fee of $3 with exception of military with an ID and anyone
over the age of 65.
All programs meet at the Joe Turner Nature Center.
They have an annual membership if your interested. Ask the front desk.
