About this Event

A lot has been written about the positive impact of birding on our mental condition. Many of us have to cope with stress, loneliness, sensory overload, loss of focus, or other lifestyle-related symptoms. Our guide, NVBA Board Member Andreas Seiter, will offer some practical hints on how nature and birds can help us decompress, build resilience and stay centered in the best version of ourselves.

We will start with a short 30-minute introduction to the topic, then go out and experience ourselves in nature for 90 minutes of "slow birding". Bring comfortable shoes, weather-appropriate clothing and a water bottle (can be filled at the visitor center). Binoculars recommended but not necessary, we will use all available senses.
