Beginners to Experienced birders are welcome
Join experienced birders Ira and Tammy Sanders on a bird walk at Reilly Canyon trail. Ira and Tammy adapt to the experience level of the group's participants, providing birding basics including how to identify birds, their calls and songs. Or assist in locating birds with experienced birders out for the morning. Bring your binoculars, questions and excitement as you enter the crazy beautiful world of bird watching. You may be introduced to field guides, optical equipment, etiquette, phone apps and anything else that comes up during the 2 hours.
Don’t forget to bring water, wear sturdy shoes, and come with your sense of wonder! Meet at the Reilly Canyon Trailhead.
These activities are free to the public, however all vehicles are required to have a Park Pass. You can purchase a pass at the Visitor Center or any of our self-serve stations.
