This bird walk by Lycoming Audubon is free & open to the public. No bird knowledge necessary! We will journey through a forested section in the Grampian Hills neighborhood of the city of Williamsport. We will follow a gentle, sloping, graded right of way through a mature woodland free of traffic. Warblers, woodpeckers, and other forest birds are likely to be seen and heard as we trace an out and back route. Loaner binoculars will be available. The walk will be about 2 hours. Directions: Traveling north on Market St in Williamsport, bear right onto Packer Street (opposite Barr’s Hardware). Follow Packer St for 1 mile (crossing Washington Blvd, Brandon Park and Grampian Blvd) After crossing Grampian Blvd head uphill and bear left at the monument. At the top of the hill bear to the right onto Upland Rd and continue for .2 miles to the parking area on the left.
