Bring your binoculars and comfy shoes as an expert from Wild Birds Unlimited guides us through the park, sharing fascinating bird facts along the way. This event is perfect for all ages, whether you're a seasoned birder or just curious about our feathered friends. Join us and Play Naturally!
✅Know before you go:
Our guide highly recommends that you download the Merlin Bird ID app on your smartphone before your arrival.
✅What to wear:
Weather-appropriate outdoor clothing and closed-toed shoes are highly recommended.
✅What to bring:
A limited amount of binoculars are available to borrow during the event, but we do recommend bringing your own, along with your smartphone and water.
✅What to expect:
The forest loop trail is accessible to guests of all ages and abilities, the total travel distance of the walk will be about one mile.
✅Where to meet:
The Bird Tour will begin at the Urban Forest trailhead located on the left side of the lake, and directional signage will be located at the park entrance.
