Trade the walls of a traditional studio for the sounds of nature and join us for a special Bird-Themed Yoga class at the Audubon Center at Debs Park.
Held in the Discovery Room, this unique semi-outdoor space opens its doors to the surrounding landscape, allowing you to practice while immersed in fresh air, birdsong, and the peaceful atmosphere of one of Los Angeles' most beautiful urban nature preserves.
Inspired by the grace, strength, and freedom of birds, this all-levels Vinyasa class will invite you to move with intention, breathe deeply, and reconnect with both yourself and the natural world.
Whether you're completely new to yoga or have been practicing for years, you'll find a welcoming environment where you can stretch, strengthen, and slow down.

** ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR **
Lia Momtsios, RYT-200
Originally from northern Greece, Lia immigrated with her family to Boston before eventually making the move to sunny Southern California in 2016.
After years of practicing law, she rediscovered yoga as a way to quiet the mind, reduce stress, and reconnect with herself. What began as a personal wellness practice quickly became a daily ritual at Veda Yoga Center, where she immersed herself in the transformative power of yoga.
In 2025, Lia enrolled in Veda Yoga's 200-hour teacher training with the intention of deepening her own practice. Along the way, she discovered a passion for teaching and sharing yoga with others.
Her classes combine mindful movement with breath-centered flow to create a moving meditation that is both energizing and grounding. Students can expect thoughtful sequencing, accessible challenges, moments of playfulness, and an emphasis on leaving class feeling stronger, calmer, and more connected.
For this special Bird-Themed Yoga class, Lia has designed a nature-inspired practice celebrating the grace, balance, and freedom found in the avian world, making the Audubon Center the perfect setting to experience yoga in harmony with nature.
