Birders and hikers of all skill levels are invited to join park naturalists for a closer look at the wildlife in Jesse H. Jones Park. Help survey birds using the eBird and Merlin Bird ID apps on your cellular device while on a leisurely stroll of 1 - 2 miles on sandy trails. This program is great for birders of all skill levels.
Data collected in used by Houston Audubon. Binoculars available to borrow, or bring your own.
Best for ages 10+. Registration at www.pct3.com/jjp at least 48 hours in advance, or register on site.
Volunteer service hours available for Texas Master Naturalists, community organizations and students.
