Join us for a Bird Sit at Beaubien Woods, hosted by Friends of the Forest Preserves Engagement Corps on August 26th, 2026!
Difficulty Level: This is a sit suitable for all ages, accessibility, and fitness levels.
Parking & Meeting Location: Meet us at the parking nearest to the Beaubien Boat Launch.
Meet Your Guide: Devin, a native Southsider and nature lover, is an Engagement Corps Member at Friends of the Forest Preserves, as well a member of BIPOC Birders.
What to Bring & Wear: Comfortable clothing suitable for summer weather, water bottle, sunscreen, insect repellent, hat and sunglasses, a phone/camera or binoculars (optional but recommended). We will also provide some binoculars for attendees to use.
We look forward to sitting, talking, and birding together in Beaubien.
