Spend time with CAKE CISMA and Gruler Gardens exploring how to create wildlife-friendly landscapes that are as beneficial as they are beautiful. This program is part of Go Beyond Beauty, an initiative that promotes planting choices that support native wildlife while preventing the spread of invasive species.
This interactive event begins with a 20–30 minute presentation focused on birds. We'll explore their habitat needs, the challenges they face, and simple ways you can make your yard more bird-friendly. Next, we'll dive into native plant selection, including how to choose the right species, avoid common pitfalls, and design a landscape that supports birds throughout the seasons.
Afterward, enjoy a guided nursery tour highlighting native plants that provide essential food and habitat for birds—an opportunity to see these species up close and gather inspiration for your own yard.
We’ll wrap up with an open Q&A session, where you can connect with local experts and get personalized advice. Light refreshments will be provided, along with take-home resources to help you get started.
Space is limited and RSVP is required—be sure to reserve your spot on our webiste: www.cakecisma.org/event
