About this Event
Have you ever wanted to learn how to call a turkey, set up blinds, shooting(shotguns and bows) from a blind or a turkey chair and learn why turkeys do what they do?! Here is your chance.
BIPOC Outdoor Gear Library has secured limited spots at the upcoming Co-ed Intro to Turkey Hunting event put on by Canadian Spotswoman Society.
What to expect?
🦃 Learn:
- Calling basics to lure 'em in
- Blind set ups for the perfect ambush
- Shotgun and archery techniques to take aim
- Tactics to outsmart those gobblers
NO EXPERIENCE OR FIREMARMS/HUNTING LICENSES REQUIRED.
NO TURKEYS WILL BE HARMED DURING THIS EVENT.
Groups of 4-5 max.
Dress according to the weather conditions
Bring Indoor shoes for a portion of the day that will include lunch.
Bring water.
Waivers required to be signed on location.
LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED - if you have dietary restrictions please inform us in case we can make an accomodation. Otherwise be sure to bring snacks aor food that will be safe for your needs. Note: you will be learning about hunting practices related to meat consumtpion including respectful and full use of the animal.
