Join Us for "Land Access Conversations with BIPOC Farmers" hosted by Kae Vargas of Connecticut Farmland Trust. Are you a BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) farmer or aspiring farmer? We invite you to participate in an important conversation about land access in our state.
Event Overview: This event is part of a series of Land Access Conversations designed to better understand the specific needs, challenges, goals, and knowledge surrounding land access among diverse farming communities. By focusing on the experiences of BIPOC farmers, we aim to uncover the unique barriers and opportunities you face in accessing and securing farmland.

$150 PARTICIPATION STIPEND AVAILABLE FOR THE 1ST 20 CT FARMERS TO REGISTER! Although BIPOC farmers from our region are welcome to join us, stipends are only available for BIPOC Farmers in Connecticut. This conversation is crucial for creating a more equitable and inclusive farming landscape. Your insights will help shape future initiatives and ensure that the voices of BIPOC farmers are heard and respected.We look forward to your participation!

Join us at Urban Fresh Gardens for a farm tour, drinks, dinner, and hang out :)
NCTFA's Grow Together Nights are a wonderful time to connect with fellow farmers during what can otherwise be a very stressful time of year. We hope to see you there!
