The Business & IP Centre (BIPC) Cambridgeshire & Peterborough provides free and low-cost business support and advice to start-up business owners, entrepreneurs, and inventors like you. With over £5M worth of business resources, events and one-to-one support available, you and your business ideas and business can benefit from all that we have to offer.

Overview:

Starting a business or growing a new one needn't feel lonely. This group is for anyone with a business idea, sole traders, micro-enterprises, and small businesses. Aimed at the Cambridgeshire area. Take a break from home or the office and join us at this welcoming and informal session.

What will be covered in the session:

Grab a coffee or tea and learn about about what we, the Business & IP Centre locally, can support you with. It's also an opportunity to find out about the business resources that can help you with your business idea, for example online COBRA and GrantFinder. Learn about these and how you can access this information, and the importance of intellectual property (IP) in business. It is an opportunity to connect with other like-minded people local business owners, and to share experiences and challenges, and look at finding solutions.

About the licensed business resources such as COBRA for those with a business idea, and if you are looking for grants, find out about GrantFinder and, how you can access these via the BIPC. You will have learnt about the support the BIPC has to offer, where to find the BIPC website, and its business information, what is IP and its importance in relation to business; how to contact us, our social media links; make connections with other businesses; be signposted to other BIPC events, sessions, 121’s and other sources of business support, information and learning you might benefit from.
