BioQuest Camp: The Web of Life in the Carolinas
BioQuest Camp will take place each day from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
At this fun-filled camp join the quest and explore the amazing variety of habitats found across South Carolina! Through hands-on activities, nature walks, games, and crafts, campers will learn how plants and animals depend on these special environments.
**Goldfish/pretzels and/or fruit snacks and water will be provided at break at Noon.
Daily Topics:
🌊July 21: Coastal Zone Adventures – Discover sandy beaches, salt marshes, and the barrier islands. Learn about sea turtle nesting, crabs, and shorebirds.
🌲July 22: Piedmont Explorers – Investigate our rolling hills, forests, and streams. Learn about all the wonderful animals that live outside our front door.
⛰️July 23: Mountain Marvels – Climb (in our imaginations) into the Blue Ridge Mountains and learn about black bears, salamanders, and other wonderful mountain creatures.
🐊July 24: Wetland Wonders – Explore the swamps and cypress forests that make our state unique and the interesting creatures that live there.
