There will be lots activities running during the day. Please join us - if you already love wildlife, want to get your family exploring nature, or just want to know a bit more. Stay for the day or just drop-in.

Do you know what creatures and beasties are living in the burn that runs through King George V Park? Find out in our wildlife Bioblitz!
Or help us keep the park tidy with some litter picking.
More information in the 'Agenda' section below. Just look out for our gazebo and we can link you in with what is happening!
Imagine Your Park: Share your views
Kennishead Community Hall
Join us in the Kennishead Community Hall , 10 Kennishead Avenue, where we'll be exploring how the park is used and your ideas for improving it.
You can also join a print making workshop using materials we will find in the park.
Free tea, coffee and snacks will be available in the hall.
Important info
No wildlife knowledge or experience is needed – just come along and get involved.
Drop in at any point during the day. Timings for individual walks, workshops and activities will be added as the programme as confirmed.
This is a family-friendly event, but anyone under 16 will need to come with an adult.
The event is free, but registering helps us keep a track of numbers. We will not store or use your contact details for any other purpose.
About Glasgow Lost Rivers
Our vision is that the White Cart Water catchment is a healthy landscape where wildlife does well and people benefit from their local waterways.
Community input will be essential. Views gathered on 26 September will feed into the design phase.

Join the King George V Park Bioblitz
Info: Help Glasgow City Council Rangers, Central Scotland Wildlife Group (CSWG) and other local wildlife enthusiasts search for and record the plants, animals and insects that call the park home. Every discovery helps us build a better picture of what's here.
Help look after the park
Info: Once we've started discovering what's living here, help us take care of the park. Drop into our community litter-picking station, grab some equipment and help give King George V Park and its river a clean-up.
Shape the future of the park
Info: Come and find out about Glasgow Lost Rivers' plans to restore the Auldhouse Burn and King George V Park. Explore the plans we have already, tell us how you use the park and river, and share what you'd like to see in the future.
Forage, explore and make with Clyde Alive
Info: Join creative group Clyde Alive for a walk around the park exploring local plants, nature and the river. Then take part in a printmaking workshop using what you've discovered. Create your own print to take home.
Explore butterflies, moths and meadow wildlife
Info: Join Butterfly Conservation to explore the park's insect life, and find out about their work creating better places for butterflies and moths across Glasgow.
What's living under the water?
Info: Join the White Cart Riverfly Group to explore the Auldhouse Burn, see freshwater insects up close and discover what these tiny creatures can tell us about the health of our rivers.
