Bioart Studio Launch Event With Live Demonstrations

Get a sneak preview of Bioart Studio at MakerSpace Charlotte!

February 7, 2026 at 2:00 PM we will open the doors for live demonstrations and informal Q&A. Drop in any time before 6:00pm to join us for tea, cookies, and bioart. This event is rescheduled from January 24 due to weather.

Bio artist and founder Karen Ingram will share vision and work from the new bio art studio.
View artwork made in "Explore Bio Art: Paint with Fluorescent Microbes!" classes at Makerspace Charlotte as well as paintings from Karen's BioGenetic Blooms body of work which was covered in Nature Biotechnology, "Biogenetic Blooms: it's microbial and it's art".
