Learn the art and science of creating a self-sustaining terrarium as you design a lush glass garden complete with tropical plants, natural hardscape materials, and beneficial microfauna. We'll guide you through each step of the process, from layering substrates and selecting plants to understanding how bioactive systems function and support long-term plant health.
A bioactive terrarium mimics nature's own processes, creating a balanced environment where plants, microorganisms, and cleanup crews work together to maintain a healthy ecosystem.
