** About the Event:**
A little about our “Binks Fun Run”:
For those arriving early on Friday, we plan on having a preliminary short run and maybe a lunch stop at one of the local restaurants on the lake. The evening will be our meet and greet at Midtown Sundries restaurant in Denver, North Carolina, where we will get to know everyone from the Foundation of Hope Ministries and Out of the Ashes support center sponsors, enjoy great food, and hopefully have a few of our boats and possibly a few hot rods on display in the parking lot.
Saturday: we will begin our day with a mandatory captains/safety meeting with our local law enforcement and pick up our goodie bags to start the run. We plan on visiting the majority of the lake, restaurants, and marinas as we pick up tokens at every stop to gather for the raffles at the end of the day. We finish our day with an award ceremony, a raffle, and an auction to raise money for addiction awareness in honor of my son Travis “BINKS” Binkley, who lost his life to addiction in 2019.
Shove off with us as we hit the open waters of Lake Norman in a one-of-a-kind powerboating experience that's all about fun, camaraderie, and supporting a worthy cause. Whether you're a seasoned captain or a first-timer, this event is for everyone who loves to make a difference while having a blast.
