From a DIY phenomenon to selling out tours around the world and sharing stages with Sleep Token, BABYMETAL and Bad Omens, Columbus, Ohio singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer BILMURI has spent the past decade defying expectations while also catching the eyes and ears of some of the biggest names in the scene.
2024's AMERICAN MOTOR SPORTS revved up a breakthrough, gathering over 100 million streams and properly introducing widespread audiences to BILMURI's signature sound. And this talented creative, aka Johnny Franck, knew he had to come out swinging for the follow-up: enter 2026's KINDA HARD where the guitars chug harder, the melodies stick around longer, the lyrics cut deeper, and everything is a lot more Muri....
Via his uncanny hybrid of alternative rock hooks, heavy metal riffs, emo introspection and countrified charisma, BILMURI now boasts over 418 million streams, a staunchly dedicated and ever-evolving global fanbase, and he continues to wow on stages around the world. Following his debut Australian national tour in 2026, BILMURI will return to electrify Aussie festival-goers this year at Good Things.
