Billy Don Burns has played his music from Honolulu to Paris,
Tokyo to New York. His songs have been recorded by Willie
Nelson, Johnny Paycheck, Tanya Tucker, Mel Tillis and
Sammy Kershaw, and the upcoming artists like Cody Jinks,
Colter Wall, Whitey Morgan and others. Shooter Jennings and
Cody Jinks are both guest artists singing with him on his latest
album “I've Seen a lot of Highway”. His last album was on
Shooter Jennings label, out of Los Angeles, BCR Records. BDB
has been featured on the Grand Ole Opry several times. BDB’s
album “Desperate Men” in 1996 unseated Johnny Cash from
the number one position on the Gavin Americana chart who
had been there 14 weeks. Johnny Cash wrote him the
letter of congratulations for that. BDB was awarded the
Ameripolitan Outlaw of the Year for 2024 in Austin, TX.
