Bill Frisell has been one of the defining guitarists of the last 45 years — spanning jazz, Americana, chamber folk, and film scores. Rolling Stone calls him "a genuine guitar hero." The New Yorker says he plays guitar the way Miles Davis played trumpet. This fall he debuts a brand new ensemble: Harmony Five.
Frisell. Vocalist Petra Haden (daughter of jazz legend Charlie Haden, collaborating with Frisell since 2003). Cellist Hank Roberts (nearly 50 years alongside Frisell). Multi-instrumentalist Luke Bergman. Drummer Tim Angulo. Five musicians. First shows.
