Event capacity is 75 riders.
Routes close at 2:45pm.
**You must have experience riding gravel - these routes are not suitable for those new to gravel riding**

The finale of our 2024 Adventure Ride season is a partnership with Visit McMinnville and Cycle Yamhill County.
Experience the beauty and the challenge of coast range gravel riding. Riders will get to choose from two self-guided & demanding route options: 18 miles, 30 miles, or 39 miles.

- Saturday, September 21st
- Meetup at 8:45am
- Welcome & Announcements at 9:10am
- Rollout at 9:30am
- Start/End Location: Ed Grenfell Park in the picnic shelter -- 15837 NW Baker Creek Rd, McMinnville, OR 97128
- Cellphone Service: there is little to no cell service at the park and along the route depending on your carrier
- Parking: onsite, carpooling is encouraged
- Restroom(s): on site at Grenfell Park
- Coffee and snacks will be provided at the start

18 mile route (routes are subject to change)

- Elevation Gain: ~2300 feet of climbing
- Estimated Riding Time: 2-3 hours
- Surfaces to expect: roots, dirt, mud, rocks, gravel, broken pavement, etc.
- Route closes at 2:45pm
30 mile route (routes are subject to change)
- Route Link: 30-mile route
- Distance: 30+ miles
- Elevation Gain: ~3900 feet of climbing
- Estimated Riding Time: 3-4 hours
- Surfaces to expect: roots, dirt, mud, rocks, gravel, broken pavement, etc.
- Route closes at 2:45pm
39 mile route (routes are subject to change)
- Route Link: 39-mile route
- Distance: 39 miles
- Elevation Gain: ~5100 feet of climbing
- Estimated Riding Time: 4-5 hours
- Surfaces to expect: roots, dirt, mud, rocks, gravel, broken pavement, etc.
- Route closes at 2:45pm
Aid Station (closes at 2:00pm)
There will be an aid station located at mile 9.8 of the 18-mile route, which happens to be at mile 22.6 of the 30-mile route, and mile 31.2 of the 39-mile route. The aid station will have first aid kit, water, snacks, pump & tools. Again, there will be limited cell service depending on your carrier.

Preparation
- Bike: this ride is best experienced on a bike with the ability to go off-road. Please no slick and/or narrow tires.
- You must download the route to your GPS or mobile device - no exceptions to this!
- Hydration & Food: bring what you need for a 5-hr bike ride
- Tools: make sure you have the tools and supplies to repair flats & make any minor adjustments. Your bike should be in good, working condition prior to arriving.
- Helmets are required.

Post-Ride Festivities
T here's an optional gathering/hangout after the ride for all participants on the patio of Mac Market in McMinnville (1140 NE Alpine Ave, McMinnville, OR 97128).
