About this Event

For this lunch hour group ride we will start at the University of the Fraser Valley, bike to downtown Abbotsford, and back, learning local routes through bike lanes and bike friendly streets. Oh, and did we mention that we will stop at Banter AND each participant will get a free icecream cone while we are there!

This is a perfect ride for beginners looking to gain more confidence riding through urban areas and for skilled riders looking to connect with others.

The route is flat and will cover roughly 7km in distance. We will take it slow, ensuring no one gets left behind.

  • Free and open to the public.
  • Registration is required
  • Must have your own bike and helmet. Must be able to ride a bike.
  • Anyone parking on campus needs to pay the parking fees.
  • Reach out to [email protected] with questions or accessibility concerns
so that we can arrange appropriate accommodations as required.
  • This event is weather dependent, we will let participants know at least a week in advance if the ride will happen as planned.

Meet at noon outside of the Rogers Forum main entrance. UFV parking lot 4/5 are recommended. Parking on campus can be limited. Please allow extra time to park and pay for parking before the event. We will be leaving promptly at 12:10pm after a brief safety check.

Hosted in Collaboration with UFV, GoByBikeBC, Hub Cycling and our amazing community partners!
