Does your 10-14-year-old need to learn bike safety for the coming school year? Join Silicon Valley Youth Climate Action (SVYCA) for a free, interactive bike safety workshop in the Sequoia Room of the Los Altos Community Center.
Kids will learn through a game show created by Safe Routes to School Los Altos. Kids are encouraged to bring a helmet, and we'll test them to make sure they can fit them.
And the best part? The Blender Bike! For a final test, kids will answer questions while riding a bike that powers a blender. Once they pass, they’ll earn a delicious smoothie as their reward.
