BikePacking 101 - Thursday, August 14, 7:00 pm at the new Lathrem Garden Plaza Shelter
Our next gathering of Cycle Kettering will feature a presentation on bikepacking/touring/adventuring. Learn about the basics of planning a bikepacking trip - designed for all members of Cycle Kettering and any cyclists who may be new to the concept of camping with a bike. Experienced cyclists Jefferey McElfresh and George Sideras will be presenting.
Members are encouraged to bring any used and unused bikepacking gear for sharing or swapping with others.
Parking for this shelter is shared with the Adventure Reef Water Park, near the Kettering Rec Center and the Charles Lathrem Senior Center. Or better yet ride your bike to the event! Plenty of bike parking is available nearby.
