Bike Commuting Class (VTA)

Do you want to bike to work or school more often but find it difficult to do so? Or maybe only when it is dry and warm out? Learn from Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition's (SVBC's) certified League Cycling Instructors who have done it regularly in various weather conditions, day and night, on how you can do so as well. You may meet a biking buddy to ride together for Bike to Wherever Days May 15-17!

You’ll learn :

• Choosing a great bicycle for commuting
• How to stay safe on the road
• How to find the best routes
• Gear for your commuter bike
• Easy ways to carry your stuff (lunch, clothing, computer, etc)
• Best clothing strategies
• How to stay visible and safe when it is dark or raining
• Safe places to leave your bike
