Big World, Big Questions: Integrating RE & Science in the Curriculum
About this Event
An interactive morning to equip and inspire teachers to run a ‘Big World, Big Questions; RE and Science’ drop-down day.
It will involve discussion, presentations, hands on activities and review of classroom resources and educational research to enable teachers to integrate RE and science within the church school curriculum. Exploring how to celebrate awe and wonder in creation in through examining mini beasts, and the night sky, how to respond to the challenge of climate change and consider spending priorities for scientists drawing on ways of knowing from both the science and RE for all these areas.
Participants will leave with the confidence, inspiration and all the materials they need to run the drop-down day in their specific school setting.
Please note that a £50 charge will apply in the event of non-attendance without prior notification.
Audience: RE and Science Leaders from Church Schools and academies.
