About the headliner, Meghan Hanley:
MEGHAN HANLEY, is a Brooklyn based, internationally touring stand-up comedian, who has been featured in Forbes, and appeared on AXSTV’s “Gotham Comedy Live,” The MSG Network, DreamsTV, Fox’s “Laughs” and “Red Eye.” In 2023, her Dry Bar Comedy Special “Friends With Kids,” premiered on The App and her comedy album, “This Happy,” debuted at number 1 on the iTunes charts. In addition to hearing her album on Sirius Satellite Radio, you can also find “This Happy,” The Special, on Meghan’s YouTube Channel. Hanley’s quick wit and upbeat persona, have lead to her being featured in several Festivals, and two tours with Armed Forces Entertainment, providing laughter to our Troops overseas. She’s also a favorite for fundraisers, and corporate clients, including The NFL, Bank of America, The Girl Scouts, Intel and Samsung. As a writer/presenter, Meghan co-wrote and co-hosted the program for Fordham University’s Inaugural Athletics Gala, as well as Advertising Week NY’s“The Future is Female Awards.” Additionally, Meghan smiles a lot, which some people find suspicious, but mostly endearing.
About the host Dan Wilbur:
Dan is also the author of 2 humor books, How Not to Read (Penguin) and Never Flirt with Puppy Killers (AM Universal), both of which were based on his wildly successful Better Book Titles website. His work has been featured on Sirius XM, Comedy Central, College Humor, McSweeney’s, The Onion News Network, the RISK! podcast, and Someecards (where he was also the Ecards Editor). He’s appeared in sketches for College Humor, IFC, MTV, Funny or Die, and Distractify (one of which ended up on The Today Show). He has performed stand-up for over 11 years and has been featured in festivals in Boston, Cleveland, New York, Austin, Salt Lake City, and North Carolina. Dan recently opened for Patton Oswalt in Madison, Grand Rapids, and at the Beacon Theatre in NYC.
