About the Film:
Holocaust Survivor. Grandma. Diva. BIG SONIA.
In the last store in a defunct shopping mall, 91-year-old Sonia Warshawski – great-grandmother, businesswoman, and Holocaust survivor – runs the tailor shop she’s owned for more than 30 years. But when she’s served an eviction notice, the specter of retirement prompts Sonia to resist her harrowing past as a refugee and witness to genocide. A poignant story of generational trauma and healing, BIG SONIA also offers a laugh-out-loud-funny portrait of the power of love to triumph over bigotry, and the power of truth-telling to heal us all.
About the Venue:
Pilgrim Chapel is an intimate venue that seats 75 people in church pews. There is a single, unisex restroom at the chapel, in the basement.

The chapel itself is ADA accessible with a ramp at the side door, but the restroom is in the basement and is not ADA accessible. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
About the Tickets:
The Pilgrim Chapel is an intimate venue, so all attendees must have a ticket to enter. Tickets are available: 1) for a donation (suggested donation amount: $10 or $20 per ticket), 2) at VIP level ($25 per ticket, seating in first two rows).
No one will be turned away for lack of funds, but seating is limited, so get your tickets now.
