Big Shrimp's 3rd Annual Halloween Extravaganza and Sage Entertainment's 9th Annual Halloween Extravaganza is headed to Connecticut for the very first time!
On Halloween night, October 31, 2026, this beloved annual tradition makes its debut outside of New York with a hometown throwdown at Park City Music Hall in Bridgeport, CT.
Each year, the Halloween Extravaganza delivers an immersive, one-night-only experience filled with storytelling, custom production, jaw-dropping visuals, and unforgettable surprises, brought to life alongside Kozmik Sirkus Productions. Last year's Forrest Gump-themed spectacle featured a full-sized boat on stage, a live ping-pong tournament, an uprising led by a 10-foot-tall Simon the Shrimp, and plenty more unforgettable moments.
Keeping with tradition, Big Shrimp will once again host its 3rd Annual Costume Contest live on stage, and this year's surprise theme will be revealed closer to Halloween.

Big Shrimp is a high-octane progressive improvised rock quartet formed in 2024 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, blending danceable funk, exploratory rock, and fearless improvisation into a sound that's as intricate as it is infectious. Built on hook-forward songwriting shared by all four members, Jared Sage Cowen (guitar/vocals), Max Perrotti (bass/vocals), Daniel Cohen (keys/vocals), and Henry Thomas (drums/vocals), the band has quickly earned national attention.
Known for adventurous live performances that blur the line between tightly crafted compositions and spontaneous exploration, Big Shrimp has a fiercely loyal fanbase known as the Prawn Stars. With all four members contributing songs, vocals, and improvisational ideas, no two performances are alike. That momentum exploded in 2026 with the band's 30+ date It's As Shrimple As That Tour, headlining rooms including the Aggie Theatre, Cervantes' Other Side, Buffalo Iron Works, Garcia's Chicago, Richmond Music Hall, Charleston Pour House, and dozens of additional markets nationwide. The tour culminated in the release of The Prawno Tapes, Vol. 4, a live album capturing the strongest improvisational moments from the run and featuring special guest Ryan Dempsey of Twiddle, who joined the band for several performances throughout the tour.

Building on that momentum, Big Shrimp spent Summer 2026 following Phish throughout the Northeast with its "We've Got It Shrimple" after-party series. The run packed venues across the East Coast, sold out three performances, and introduced hundreds of new fans to the band's explosive late-night shows.
On the studio front, Big Shrimp released its second studio single, "Alcaworkholic," in March 2026 as the latest preview of the band's forthcoming debut full-length album set for release in Fall 2026.
The band's momentum continues this August with the launch of Camp Scampi, Big Shrimp's inaugural music, food, and arts festival in Addison, New York. Headlined by Big Shrimp and Spafford and featuring more than 30 artists across multiple stages, the independently produced festival reflects the community the band has built through relentless touring and an ever-growing national audience.
Looking ahead, Big Shrimp has already announced a 30+ date Fall 2026 Tour, expanding into new markets including St. Louis, Milwaukee, Cleveland, and Charlotte while returning to fan-favorite cities across the Northeast and Midwest. The run also marks the band's third Colorado tour of 2026, reinforcing one of its fastest-growing regional fanbases as momentum continues to build toward the release of its debut studio album.
