Big Shrimp
w/ Ryan Dempsey (Twiddle)
ZenBarn - Waterbury, VT
Friday November 20th, 2026
Big Shrimp brings its high-octane blend of danceable funk, exploratory rock, and fearless improvisation to ZenBarn. Formed in 2024 in Bridgeport, CT, the quartet — Jared Sage Cowen (guitar/vocals), Max Perrotti (bass/vocals), Daniel Cohen (keys/vocals), and Henry Thomas (drums/vocals) — has built a fiercely loyal fanbase (the "Prawn Stars") on hook-forward songwriting and live sets where no two nights are alike.
2026 has been a breakout year: a 30+ date headline tour, a live album (The Prawno Tapes, Vol. 4) featuring Ryan Dempsey of Twiddle, sold-out Phish after-shows up and down the East Coast, and the launch of their own festival, Camp Scampi. With a debut studio album on the way this fall, catch them now before the next chapter drops.
"...yielding some of the funkiest, most cathartic and most primal energy of the set." — NYSMusic
