Making accessibility a priority, we offer multiple bus days where visitors can ride a bus out to Big Sable Lighthouse and skip the 2 mile walk!
Park in the main parking lot at the entrance of Ludington State Park. Follow the signage to the state park office, there will be a tent setup where you can pay and wait for the bus to arrive. The last bus leaves Big Sable to head back to the parking lot at 4:30PM, we do not sell roundtrip tickets out to the light past 4:00PM.
Adult - Roundtrip $6, One-Way $3
Student (17 & Under) - Roundtrip $4, One-Way $2
You may bring beach chairs etc. on the bus with you as long as it fits with you in your seat.
You will need a state park sticker to enter the park, if you do not have one, there is a one day fee you can pay to enter.
Bus tickets do not include a ticket to climb the light, this will be purchased separately upon arrival at the lighthouse.
