Big Queer Weekend 2025Friday, August 15th – Big Queer Weekend Kickoff!
Start your Big Queer Weekend with a bang! Friday night brings the heat with Queeraoke, your chance to belt out your favorite hits in a judgment-free, glitter-filled zone. Then we turn up the nostalgia with "I LOVE THE 90’s" a drag and burlesque spectacular celebrating the icons, fashion, and fierce attitude of the decade that gave us grunge, girl power, and glitter. Expect bold looks, unforgettable performances, and all the throwback vibes. When the curtain falls, the party's just getting started. DJ NolaCruz keeps the energy high at the official after party. Come ready to sing, slay, and dance the night away!
Saturday, August 16th – Big Queer Weekend Day 2: Magic, Makers & Meet-Cutes
Saturday is packed with community, creativity, and queer joy! Spend your day exploring our vibrant Makers Market, featuring incredible queer artists and makers. Learn, connect, and get involved with your local community at informational booths from queer clubs, groups, and nonprofits. Bring the whole family for a heartwarming Drag Story Time and a Kids’ Craft Corner full of color, imagination, and sparkle.
In the afternoon, things get flirty with our Meet-Cute Queer Social, a chance to make new friends in a low-pressure, high-vibes space.
As the sun sets, the fairy dust settles in for Once Upon a Time: A Fairytale-Themed Drag and Burlesque Show, where your favorite storybook characters come to life with queer magic, fierce costumes, and dazzling performances.
Then stay up late with us for an After Hours Dance Party that’ll keep you moving ‘til after the stroke of midnight.
Sunday, August 17th – Big Queer Weekend Grand Finale
Ease into the final day of Big Queer Weekend with a rejuvenating morning yoga class, perfect for grounding yourself after all the weekend festivities.
You Better Brunch offers a delicious mid-morning brunch to help you decompress from the night before e and prepare you for our last event of the weekender….
The ultimate summer send-off: the Big Queer Pool Party featuring DJs Mothership Connection. Splash, dance, and soak up the joy as we close out the weekend in full queer style!
