About BIG LIGHT
BIG LIGHT is a new community darkroom in the heart of Stockport, made possible by generous funding from the UK Government through their Shared Prosperity Fund. Since late 2025, we have been building and developing the space, gently launched through targeted subsidised programming for the local community. This exhibition will showcase some of the work made here so far, and act as an opportunity for ideas generating, networking and information sharing around the future of BIG LIGHT.
The exhibition will be up throughout the month of April, available to visit during our standard opening hours of 10-5PM Thursday-Saturday, or by appointment.
