What’s your BIG idea? Big Idea Committee celebrates collaboration, creativity, and the magic of BIG ideas — “Many minds are better than one”! Together with the audience, the Big Idea Committee goes on a musical journey of imagination, exploration and discovery!
Join us at Uptown! Knauer Performing Arts Center for movement and music fueled by wonder and whimsy! Through original songs, explore your BIG feelings and celebrate being true to YOU! All in favor? Say, "AYE"!
Led by award-winning children’s musicians Christine Petrini and Melissa Brun, Big Idea Committee blends musical theatre vocals with live cello instrumentals to create an interactive, theatrical experience for children ages 3–10. Christine and Melissa are dedicated to writing and performing music that celebrates connection and joy for young listeners and their grown-ups!
Along with Karl the Cello, Christine and Melissa empower children to explore the world with curiosity and wonder — navigating big feelings, embracing their authentic selves, and discovering the power of their own BIG ideas! BIG Thinkers embark on grand adventures through music, imagination, and audience participation! Think BIG and let your ideas soar!
