Big Hop Circus Presents: Sweater Weather

Sweater Weather is a circus show where the audience has a voice! This is the first seasonal show by Big Hop Circus, a small troupe of go getters that distinctively decided: Asheville does not have enough circus.
Doors open at 6pm - get here early, grab a seat, grab a beer, and peruse some local art vendors.
Show Starts at 7pm - the show will be about 80 minutes long including a 20 min intermission.
Some acts will be choreographed; some will be improvised to songs you request! Once you purchase your ticket, we will email you asking for your song request. We will assemble a playlist with the requested songs. When it is time for an improvised act we will hit shuffle on the playlist. The artist will not know the song until they are on stage! How deliciously chaotic!
Post show there will be time to make final purchases from the vendors as well as meet the performers!
Come hang out to support local circus artists, check out work from local artisan vendors, and grab a beer while you’re here.
Art Vendors
We have invited local art vendors to share the evening with us. Feel free to browse and make purchases preshow, during intermission, or after the show.
Seating
We offer seating on plastic folding chairs. If you need access to ADA seating, please let us know so we can talk through our options and provide the best possible service. All seating first come, first serve, regardless of ticket tier.
Parking
We’re very pleased to offer a limited amount of free on-site parking. Free overflow parking is available in the Biltmore Fitness Parking lot.
However, when these lot fills up, we ask that you please not park in any of our neighbors’ lots. This includes Appalachian Vintner, Standard Pizza, and Village Antiques.
Dress Code:
We are not formal here. Cover the necessary bits for sanitary reasons. Otherwise, have fun!
