Deer and bear are the primary animals brought to each event; however, all North American big game can be measured at the events for Boone and Crockett, Long Hunter Society, and Pope and Young. Cleaned skulls, antler skull caps, euros, and shoulder mounts may be measured. Deer may be scored for the TN Deer Registry as well (TN deer only). Minimum scores for a typical deer for the TN Deer Registry are 115 archery, 125 muzzleloader, and 140 for gun and Non-typical 140 archery, 150 muzzleloader, and 165 Gun. Bring the appropriate hunting license/harvest information to verify the animal was taken legally from the state of harvest. There isn't a fee for the animal to be measured. You may drop off your animal any time prior to your scheduled time and pick it back up approximately 1 hour after the end of your reserved time slot if you choose. Individuals are limited to one animal, but if time allows multiple animals may be measured.
