The Waikato Society of Potters invites you to the Big Day of Clay!
Come along, play with some clay, and find out why making things out of clay is so good for the soul. It's also a great chance to check out your local pottery club and see the studio, facilities and classes we have available for you.
Our Open Day is for everyone, with fun activities for all ages:
• Slippery Dip • Paint a Pot • Try the Pottery Wheel • Raku Firings • Make a Pinch Pot • Raffles • Pottery Market Sales - a chance to get some of the Christmas shopping ticked off!
All activities are $2 each, just to cover the cost of clay and firing.
After the day, we'll glaze and fire everything you make, and you can come back and collect your pieces three weeks later.
