First Annual Big Daddy's 27 For Vets Ride!

Starting at First Christian Church in Republic, this 27ish mile ride and cycling event is created in honor and memory of my Dad aka Big Daddy. In the past he was always supportive of the rides that Ride 417 Cycling put on and helped with many rest stops at organized rides as well as providing sag support. He passed away rather unexpectedly on April 11th, 2026 after battling pneumonia. He was in the Navy and served in Vietnam.
Partnering with Kyle Johnson of Gershman Mortgage we are putting on this ride to raise funds for the Veterans Coming Home Center. ALL proceeds will be donated to this cause! We just ask for a $20 donation and for you to show up to ride July 11th! We will be providing door prizes, a boxed lunch, drinks, a rest stop, and sag support will be provided by Bicycle Outlet!

More details to come! Riders will be required to have gear in proper working order, wear a helmet, follow all traffic laws, and sign a waiver at the time of the ride.
