As part of the Leeds Wild Spaces Project, Butterfly Conservation in collaboration with Leeds City Council has established a wildflower meadow at Wortley Recreation Ground.
Join us to learn about the Leeds Wild Spaces Project and take part in the Big Butterfly Count - an annual nationwide survey of our Butterflies for anyone to take part!
You will learn how to ID butterflies, so don't need any prior knowledge, and how to complete the survey.
It will be helpful to download the Big Butterfly Count app on your phone - but this is not necessary.
This event is suitable for all ages and skills!

Parking/transport: Parking is available nearby. The park is accessible by bus.
