As part of the Leeds Wild Spaces Project, Butterfly Conservation in collaboration with Leeds City Council has established a one hectare wildflower meadow at Temple Newsam.
Join us to learn about the Leeds Wild Spaces Project and take part in the Big Butterfly Count - an annual nationwide survey of our Butterflies for anyone to take part!
You will learn how to ID butterflies, so don't need any prior knowledge, and how to complete the survey. After this, we will continue around the site to look for any other wildlife!
It will be helpful to download the Big Butterfly Count app on your phone - but this is not necessary.
This event is suitable for all ages and skills!
Exact meeting point and further information will be sent to you via email on the day of the event.
Parking/transport: Paid parking is available on site. The park is accessible by bus but requires walking too.
